"Greg's knowledge of working with the banks to acheive a successful short sale closing, helped our struggling family get back on track to recovery. He mitigated with our first lender in which we owed almost $200,000, and our second lender in which we had a home equity line of credit of over $50,000. Not only did we get rid of these two "toxic" loans without paying out any money at closing, he made sure that the banks waived all future rights to persue us for the deficency balance. Added to that, because of the Mortgage Debt Relief Act, we did not have to pay any taxes on the debt forgiveness.
Although our family had to rent a house for nearly two years, we now have secured a new loan with the same lender, and purchased another bigger home in the same area for almost half of what we paid for the short saled property.

I just wanted to thank you again for all your help on my short sale. I just opened a tax “Cancellation of Debt” form from CitiMortgage to see the “Amount of debt discharged” is over $74,000!!
I don’t know what I would have done without your knowledge of this extremely important “detail” with the sale of the house. I really miss my house, but know it’s all for the best.
